Palo Alto, California
Not many towns can say they're home to Nobel Prize winners. Silicon Valley CEOs, HP, Facebook, venture-capital firms, and amongst the most well-known universities and medical centers are right here in Palo Alto. The city is adjacent to Mountain View and east of Los Altos and Menlo Park. In case you didn't know, Hewlett-Packard was founded right here in Palo Alto.
Palo Alto is known as the birthplace of Silicon Valley. However, the emergence of Stanford University in the 1970s led the city to being home to a leading academic high-technology research center. The area has consistently attracted engineers and persons of other highly-educated fields, leading Palo Alto to being economically stable and diverse.
